2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by IONOS. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data. This may include the requested page or file, date and time, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referrer and IP address. Processing is necessary to deliver the website and ensure its security and stability.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure, reliable and technically fault-free operation of the website. For its web-hosting service, IONOS describes IP-address anonymisation at collection and a visitor-data retention period of eight weeks.

3. Detailed CV requests through Formspree

A detailed CV can be requested through the form in the navigation menu. The information entered—name, email address, optional company and the type of request—is submitted to Formspree and then used to respond to the request. Please do not submit special categories of personal data through this form.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request concerns steps prior to entering into a contract. For general professional enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the efficient handling of incoming enquiries.

Recipient: Formspree, Inc., United States. Formspree processes and stores form submissions and may also process technical data such as IP address, browser type, access time and referrer. Processing in the United States or other third countries is possible. Further information is available in theFormspree privacy policy.

TODO: Verify with Formspree the data-processing agreement, the specific safeguard for third-country transfers (for example an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses), sub-processors, storage locations and deletion periods, and describe them here. Formspree should only be used in production after this review.

The request is deleted once it has been fully dealt with unless contractual or statutory retention obligations require continued storage. TODO: Define and add a specific internal deletion period for Formspree submissions, emails and distributed CVs.

4. Contact by email

When you contact Peter Bényei by email, the information you provide is processed to respond to the enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is responding to the enquiry. Data is deleted when the matter is resolved unless statutory retention obligations apply. TODO: Verify and add the email provider and concrete deletion routine.

5. Booking meetings with Cal.com

Cal.com is used for meeting bookings. When you select “Let’s talk” in the navigation, the booking calendar loads and your browser connects to Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4382, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States. Cal.com may then process data including your IP address, browser and device information, referrer and timestamps. When you make a booking, Cal.com also processes the contact details, appointment information and answers to booking questions that you provide.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where booking concerns steps prior to entering into a contract and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the simple and reliable coordination of meetings. Where technically necessary information is stored on or accessed from your device, this is done to provide the booking function you expressly requested under Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. You can alternatively make contact by email. Cal.com states that it acts as processor for booking data. Data may be processed in the United States; Cal.com identifies standard contractual clauses or an adequacy mechanism as safeguards for international transfers.

TODO: Before production use, verify the data-processing agreement, specific international transfer safeguard, connected calendar and video services, booking questions and internal deletion periods, then update this information accordingly.

6. No tracking or marketing technologies

This website does not use web analytics or marketing services such as Google Analytics, advertising pixels or embedded social-media plugins. Before the Cal.com calendar is actively loaded, the website does not set non-essential cookies. A general tracking-consent banner is therefore not currently provided. Processing by the expressly requested Cal.com booking function and technically necessary processing by the hosting and form services remain unaffected.

7. External links

The website links to external services including LinkedIn, Medium, Cal.com, Freelancermap and certification providers. Loading this website does not transmit data to those providers because of these links. Once an external link is followed, the respective provider's privacy terms apply.

8. Recipients and disclosure

Personal data is disclosed only where required to provide the website, respond to an enquiry, perform a contract or comply with a legal obligation, or where another valid legal basis exists. In addition to IONOS and Formspree, Cal.com and the email provider may receive personal data. TODO: Verify and add the complete list of actual recipients and processors.

9. Data-subject rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, data subjects have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. They may withdraw consent with future effect and object, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR.
